IMPORTANT EAGLE PROCESSING NOTIFICATION

We have been informed by the National Eagle Scout Service at the National office that ALL Eagle applications submitted for processing must have the middle name of the Scout spelled out.

They will not process applications with just a middle initial listed. If a Scout does not have a middle name it must be so indicated on the application.

Please double check all your Eagle applications prior to submitting them for the necessary merit badge check to be sure they are in compliance with this rule.

EAGLE SCOUT LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

All letters of recommendation for the Rank of Eagle Scout will be obtained through the Council's Advancement Committee.

In order for the Council to obtain the necessary letters in a timely manner all Eagle applications MUST contain the follow information:

•   Full name of person the Scout is seeking a recommendation from

•   The person's complete address

•   The person's correct zip code

•   The person's telephone number including area code

•  All information must be printed or typed legibly

In order to provide the Advancement Committee with all the necessary information an additional sheet may be attached to the Eagle application. However the information must also appear on the application itself in the indicated areas. Additionally, the Scout should notify the person or persons they are seeking a recommendation from that they will be contacted by the the Advancement Committee.
